Legal Department of the Year

Open to private sector and government legal departments in the GCC .

The winner will have demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting gender equality within the legal department and organisation. Judges will be looking at the legal department’s strategy for and success in recruiting, retaining and promoting female legal professionals within the organisation’s legal department in the GCC.

Law Firm of the Year (Regional Firm)

Open to regional law firms having their head office in the GCC.

The winner will have demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting gender equality within the firm. Judges will be looking at the firm’s strategy for and success in recruiting, retaining and promoting female legal professionals.

Law Firm of the Year (International Firm)

Open to international law firms having their head office outside the GCC and at least one office in the GCC.

The winner will have demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting gender equality within the firm in the GCC. Judges will be looking at the firm’s strategy for and success in recruiting, retaining and promoting female legal professionals within the firm in the GCC.

Equality Initiative of the Year

Open to legal departments and law firms based in the GCC.

This category focuses on a single project or initiative that has successfully improved gender equality and women’s inclusion within the organisation or wider community in the GCC. Judges will be looking to reward innovative, practical projects and initiatives that will inspire other teams to implement similar schemes.
